At Trulia we are committed to putting feedback into action in order to create positive changes for our customers. Earlier this year we began making updates to enhance data quality on our site, and in May we previewed an overhaul of our industry offerings designed to better serve the needs of our industry partners.

Today we are happy to announce that the changes we previewed in May have been implemented and are now live on our site:

Enhanced Listing Broker and Agent Identification

A new module enhances the identification of the listing broker and listing agent on every listing on our site, both at the top of the page and in the body of the detailed listing data.

The module at the top of the page includes clear attribution of the listing agent, broker and the source of the listing data, including a link back to the listing source, when that information is provided within a data feed.

The module at the bottom of the page now includes the phone number and address of both the listing agent and broker, when that information is provided within a data feed. It also includes a new link back to the listing source. The broker logo is also displayed for all Premium Listing customers.

Improved Identification & Placement of Display Advertising

Beginning today, Display ads from non-listing brokers and agents have been removed from all premium listings, and on non-premium listings, paid advertisements are more clearly identified as advertisements.

Behind the scenes we are continuing to enhance listing management and claiming processes to improve listing accuracy. Our goal is, and has always been, to display the most accurate listings information to buyers and sellers, and we believe these updates are a large step towards achieving that goal. Thank you again to those partners who have shared their feedback with us these past months. We look forward to additional discussions and improvements in the coming future.
